Just finished watching the 2nd series of After Life, my god, my fucking god...what an emotional rollercoaster of a show that is, genuinely tearing up and then laughing out loud then crying like a babe again...
This is genius writing and acting, can't express enough how utterly brilliant this show is, every emotion is laid bare and then twisted on itslef. utterly brilliant. Gervais made awkward comedy his thing, and it was amazing, now by design or luck hes stumbled on raw emotional grief comedy in a way that really leaves you a wreak...
oh man...brilliant.
